For you, a poem (not mine, a GOOD one)

If you went through my last post, here's a reward, I think. Well, if you like poetry and thinking a little. PoemsDaily on LJ just had a Sherman Alexie poem I'd never seen before: "On the Amtrak from Boston to New York City"

Yeah. I love the twist at the end. Every group has its historical complaints, like what most of the poem seems to be about. At first, I thought he was shooting fish in a barrel; it was too easy for him to take that route. The twist at the end about how one thinks about what to say "the next time" and how it always seems like that ... that's universal. That's what made the poem for me.
