You there—why so quiet?

Been kind of a rough week here, which can be best summed up by the old saying "Neither a borrower nor a lender be ... but above all never be a co-signer." OK, I added that last bit, and for good reason. Remind me of that the next time a close family member (or anyone, really) asks me to help with a credit application, please?

The weather this week has been varied, with cold and warm-ish and fog and sun. Now that most of the snow has melted, there's a winter storm coming to put some more down. At least, I'm hoping for snow, and not sleet and freezing rain. Not far to the south, there are ice storm warnings up. Ice storms are not wanted, no sir.

I went to see jjfmi and Leslie Frederick play at the Plymouth Coffee Bean last night. What a fun show, with a lot of friends in the crowd. Tonight, I'm going to Trixie's Coffee to see a couple of guys from Australia play. I saw them at the Tuesday open mic this week, and they were pretty good. This is not their first show there; I guess they were there last year. This leads to my main question: how did they find out about Trixie's in little ol' Roseville, Michigan in the first place? Maybe it was a spin-the-globe-and-point kind of thing.

Anyway... I'm sure this next bit will explain all about me:

Ahh...the sweet serenity. The utter perfection of all creation. The wondrous beauty of nature. The sweet sparrow singing along in the great orchestra we call life...

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? You're the type of person people always love to mock because they don't believe there's anyone ACTUALLY like you.

Do realise that you ostracise people with your behaviour or is it all subconscious? You're so quiet and reserved it's almost impossible to get to know you well, and when someone finally does, all you want to talk about is grace and beauty and harmony!

Ugh. Sure, you "genuinely care for others" and all that rubbish, but when it boils right down to the basics you take life far too seriously.

Throughout the entire test, I bet you were searching for "further clarification and hidden meaning" so that you might improve your pitiful life. And woe and behold if it betrayed your intense values system!

You need to STOP smelling the daisies. Believe it or not, logic does have a place in this world...imbecile.

Note: ISFP=Introverted Sensing Feeling Perceiving. Oddly enough, eighteen years ago when I first took a Meyers-Briggs inventory, I came out as INTJ, but a few years later when I retook it I was an ISFP. Both times, the latter three letters were always really close so that they could've gone either way, but the I has always been very definite. Which probably explains some things, but I don't think it's really worth pondering quizzes like this for long.
