As we return to our story....

I'm back from Indiana. I actually got back Tuesday night. No, they wouldn't let me stay, since I'm too liberal for them — Exhibit A: "Sodrel would protect legislators' opening prayer." Wolf offered to hide me in a basement, but it was pretty cold down there (almost as cold as up here).

After last week's little incident in Dayton, I decided to take the stair-step route back, I-65 to I-70 to I-75. And since I was going that way, I stopped at Edinburgh Premium Outlets in Edinburgh, Indiana, which is around forty miles south of Indianapolis. Yes, I went to an outlet mall. No, the world did not end. In fact, I had fun and bought some badly needed clothes for way cheaper than I could've here at home. That was worth the two-hour stopover. So what, I drove most of the way after that in the dark... it was mostly Ohio, which looks better in low light anyway.

Anyway, so I'm back at work, which is still as crazy as it was last week. Maybe someday when we're all drunk, I'll tell you stories.

We had about half an hour of snow this afternoon. Since it had been in the low 40s just before the snow, the ground was way too warm, so there was no accumulation. That's just as well, since I had a fit of wisdomlessness this morning and put on my sneakers instead of my hiking boots.

Cool link: http://members.iinet.net.au/~pontipak/redsquare.html. I could see that becoming addictive pretty easily.
